Cbaccountant - Taking The Vital Pulse Of Your Business
As an internet based business, you know just how vital your affiliate links and marketing programs are. They cost you money, and there’s always a suspicion that you aren’t getting your full dollar’s amount from them. Furthermore, in a field that’s growing as rapidly and with as many options as internet marketing and affiliate programs, the field changes. What worked last month may not work this month, and you need vital, up to date data on how your marketing programs are working.
One example of this kind of tool is a program called CB Accountant. It provides a refined (and greatly expanded) view of the ClickBank statistics packages that you get when advertising through ClickBank.
Now, ClickBank’s statistics that they provide to all account members are very basic – they tell you how many clicks went through and from where. What CB Accountant does is tell you frequency patterns of clicks (optimum for picking out surges in users, to identify which promotions are working, or seasonal or regional trends), and where those clicks are coming from.
Now, these are fairly standard web server statistics, and you can figure them out for yourself by checking your own server logs… but CB Accountant does that for you, collating your own server data with ClickBank’s data to make one refined display.
Even better, CBAccountant will let you view statistics from multiple ClickBank accounts at the same time. Anyone who’s had to log in, log out, log in, log out, and jot notes down to do this for a dozen ClickBank accounts knows exactly what a time saver this is.
CBAccountant is a tool that everyone who’s serious about managing their internet advertised business should have. It’s fairly easy to set up, though not idiot-proof. You will need to know some information about your hosting package and hosting service provider to get the most out of it.
Fortunately, it’s being updated regularly, and the programmer who wrote it is taking the time to incorporate user feedback to make it easier to install (it’s already a snap to use.)
