Paul Thigpen tells a cute story about his wife reading to their two year old son, Elijah, at bedtime. She was reading to him Jesus’s story of the Good Samaritan. She got to the place in the story where the expert in the law confronted Jesus with a question. The lawyer asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
At that point little Elijah spoke up with what he thought was the answer, “I know! Mr. Rogers!”

Are you willing to believe that there’s good in everything? You just have to find it.
This, in a nutshell, is the Law of Polarity. Like the Law of Attraction, it’s one of many universal laws that govern our lives.
To use the Law of Polarity to our advantage, we have to know that all of the circumstances in our lives are neutral. It is up to each of us to define our perspective. We have the power to choose to find the positive, or to feel overwhelmed by the negative. Each is a perspective; each is a choice. We can make this kind of choice each day. Some choices are minor. And some choices stand out as life-changing.

The paradigm of oneness and love says that we are all spirit children of God, the universal source. Living in fear comes from a belief that says we are separate from God. These are the base thoughts that determine how we view the world. If we believe that we are separate we will view the world one way and if we believe that we are one we will view the world another way. If you believe that you are one with your source then you also believe that we were created by God in his image and likeness. In other words, we have the same properties and creative abilities as God.

Anger, is a strong feeling that is hidden deep deep deep under several layers of skin and often unleashed inappropriately. Actually some of us are able to control this beast more easily than others. They do not get triggered as easily and know how to deal with it. Why? Because they can communicate what is important to them.
So for the rest of us; why is it so silent and vicious? Why does it emerge unexpectedly? Personally I did not know I could become so angry so fast. I really thought I was not an angry person.

“ Every failure is a blessing in disguise, providing it teaches some needed lesson one could not have learned without it. Most so-called Failures are only temporary defeats.”
Napoleon Hill
Trust is a critical commodity in a cross-cultural context as it relates to globalization. Doing work globally requires two dimensions of complexity: business and cultural competency. McCall and Hollenbeck, authors of Developing Global Executives, argue that a global leader must be flexible, sensitive to cultural differences, able to handle complexity, and willing to think globally. In order to operate globally, most organizations must decentralize their operations. Therefore, organizations are becoming virtual. In implementing virtual organizations, managers can have reduced employee oversight and accountability, lower productivity, and less direct interpersonal contact, decreasing team building opportunities and isolating employees.

How often do you hear that innocent little request throughout your day? Depending on who you are your reaction will be very different. If you’re a people person you’ll welcome the interruption and be more than willing to put everything else aside to focus on the other person. If you’re a task person you’ll be annoyed by this intruder and would love to snap, “no”, but etiquette keeps you from doing so. These are the extremes and you may fall somewhere in the middle, but generally at different times and under certain circumstances you’ve probably been at one of those extremes. So how should you respond to such an innocent request?

Puer Aeternus is Latin for eternal boy. Senex is Latin for old man. However, this is just one archetype–a split archetype. Hillman (1970) explains “that the senex is a complicatio of the puer, infolded into puer structure, so that puer events are complicated by a senex background.” (p. 146). Explaining that the senex has a double nature, Hillman continues by saying “one characteristic is never safe from inversion into its opposite” (p. 148). So what? How does all this double talk relate to the real world?

The end goal of every human pursuit is said to be happiness. But can happiness be obtained by material success alone? Can money buy happiness? Do great achievements bring true happiness? The truth is that riches, success and achievements may bring name, fame and pride, but they do not bring happiness. If lack of money and success gives sorrow and suffering their possession also does not give true happiness. The question then is how to find this elusive end of human pursuit? How can one be peaceful and happy, irrespective of whether one has success or failure in life?

GAIN CONTROL OF YOUR ANGER NOW WITH THESE STEPS:
1. Breathe deep and long breaths. Be sure to open your belly and breathe deep into your abdomen. You may not know it, but when you’re angry you’re panicking. This will help you to calm down.
2. Walk outside and look at the sky while you’re doing your deep breathing. This will help you to put things in perspective, and it can have a soothing effect.
3. Do some stretches. When you’re angry your body gets tense and rigid. The stretching will open up some of the tight areas of your body and get more oxygen flowing to your brain and help you clear your thoughts.
